Hi guys, I have been taking tamoxifen for 2 months now, and have taken a cycle for 5 days. I am very interested in having a post cycle tamoxifen, but if I am taking tamoxifen, can I only use the tamoxifen if I need to? Also, how do I know if the body is fully functioning or if it is not?
Thanks in advance!
January 6, 2011, 12:28pm5Hello, I'm on Tamoxifen for PCT (post cycle therapy). This cycle is often used for PCT. It's often used in conjunction with an aromatase inhibitor like letrozole, in addition to aromatase inhibitors. It's been my experience that tamoxifen has the best results for post cycle therapy, but if you think you might need to take it, here's my suggestion:
1) Start with the most effective dosage, and the lowest dose that is suited to you.
2) Use the lowest dose for a maximum of 3 cycles. This can be done by taking the lowest dosage for at least 3 weeks, and then continuing your cycle.
3) If you still have the symptoms, let your doctor know.
4) If the symptoms are still not gone, take the next dose as soon as possible after the first symptoms. Your body may be able to restore the normal levels of the hormone in the body.
5) If you are still experiencing an issue with the body, please discuss it with your doctor.
January 7, 2011, 12:35pm6Hi all, I was going to post my cycle on anabolic steroids but got a bad experience. It's been a very rough cycle for me. I've taken 2 cycles of Tamoxifen and now want to go back to the Nolvadex for PCT. I'm also going to start my Nolvadex post cycle. If anyone has any more info, please do let me know.
January 7, 2011, 12:40pm7Hello guys, I have been on Tamoxifen for 2 months and have been taking it for 5 days. I am not taking any steroids at the moment and I was using it for 2 months with no side effects. I was on anabolic steroids for 5 years and my doctor recommended a cycle for PCT. I did not want to wait any longer and went back to it. The only side effects I could get were water retention, nausea, and headaches. It was a bad experience. My gynecologist recommended me a Nolvadex post cycle because of the amount of water retention and nausea. I did not want to take a cycle. After my second cycle of Nolvadex and after I stopped taking the Nolvadex, the water retention was better. I will continue with my Nolvadex post cycle and see how it goes.
January 7, 2011, 1:26pm8Hi guys, I am on tamoxifen and I have a very short cycle. I was on anabolic steroids for 2 months and I started taking 2 weeks on the Nolvadex and the water retention has been very bad. I have been trying to quit the cycle for 3 weeks and have been on the Nolvadex for a week and then had to take the Nolvadex again. I am now going to try Nolvadex and see how the water retention goes. I am currently using it for PCT, which is the most effective way. I hope I will be able to help as I am just now starting a new cycle. Thanks for reading!
January 7, 2011, 2:13pm9Hello all, I'm just thinking about doing something like tamoxifen for PCT. I've started on the Nolvadex, and have been taking it for about 2 months. I was on it for 5 years. My gynecologist recommended it for PCT but I have not had any side effects. It's been a tough cycle for me and I have no idea what it is.
